Neighbor Care Events
Help the hungry in our neighborhood!
We’re recruiting volunteers to assist one Saturday a month with the Care for Real food pantry in Edgewater. Contact Matt Ostercamp at firstname.lastname@example.org.
No need to wait for an event!
Start with practicing hospitality…like connecting with new people each Sunday morning at First Free or inviting your neighbors over for a meal to share conversation!

Neighbor Care Partnerships wants to be aware of the needs that are in our congregation so we can serve those among us. In the middle of a big life transition? Have a shorter-term situation and could use an extra hand? Please complete the request form, and someone from the team will be in touch with you to discuss your need.
I have a need
Are you available to help with a need?
If you’d like to make yourself available for when a need arises, please let us know. From giving someone a ride to a doctor’s appointment to bringing over a meal or helping someone move to a new place, you can make a difference!
Crisis & Compassion Fund
Neighbor Care Partnerships also manages First Free’s Crisis & Compassion Fund. Many of these resources come through the benevolence offerings on the Sundays when we partake in communion.
A limited amount of financial help may be available to members, attendees and former members of First Free who are in need. Please refer to our fund policy here for more detailed information before submitting your request for help.
