Join Us For Sanctuary
What if we received an actual invitation to meet face to face with the Almighty God – to be in His presence? Sanctuary is an encounter with our Heavenly Father where we come to Him just to be with Him, to hear what He has to say to us, and to grow in our intimacy with Him.
“Be still, and know that I am God. Psalm 46:10a

**Listening Prayer Ministry
John 10:4 says, “My sheep hear my voice.” Many people think of prayer as being one-directional – us talking to God. Yet prayer can, and should, be bi-directional, with us also listening to what God has to tell us. God can speak to us through the Bible, through others, through circumstances, but especially through his Holy Spirit, who can put specific words and thoughts in our minds as we pray for ourselves and others.
We have trained and experienced teams that are available to pray for you at Sanctuary and other times throughout the year. The format involves designating a 15 minute session for an individual, couple or family to be prayed for.Contact the Sanctuary Planning Team
INTRO TO BLESSINGS WORKSHOPS
The action of giving and receiving blessings features prominently in Scripture, and we want to teach both parents and children about the power of speaking words of blessing to their children and to each other. On Sundays, our children have been studying about the blessing that God has given His people the Israelites as well as His desire to bless others (indeed the whole world!) through them. We want to apply these truths practically, and K-5 parents are encouraged to attend two workshops on Saturday. The first will focus on training, and the second will be a hands-on event with your kids to apply what was learned. The kids will have two workshops on their own as well.
SPEAK LORD, YOUR SERVANT IS LISTENING WORKSHOP
Join us as we review the foundations of prayer: God speaks, and God listens. The goal is to equip Christians for the discipline of practicing prayer: talking to God, and listening to God’s voice.
MOVING THROUGH EZEKIEL 37 WORKSHOP
We were made by a creative God whose Holy Spirit moves through us, in us, and around us. In this movement workshop, we will engage with our Immanuel, the God who is with us.
Entering the space as empty vessels seeking to be filled with God’s creative Spirit, we will explore the space around us as individuals and as a collective. Moving through a guided improvisation inspired by Ezekiel 37, we’ll step into the presence of our Father and move through His promise to us:
“Dry bones, hear the word of the LORD! This is what the Sovereign LORD says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life. I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the LORD.” (Ezekiel 37: 5-6).
Come ready to listen, move both rigorously and gently, and be just as you are before our God. Using creative movement and the somatic practices of Body, Force, Space, and Time, Michelle will lead the group through a warm up, improvisational exploration around God’s word to the prophet Ezekiel, and group choreography inspired by our improvisation time. All ages and movement abilities welcome!
