The worship arts at First Free are budding, with growing opportunities to get involved and use your creative energy to edify the body and glorify our Creator! We are artists, musicians, actors, technicians and supportive people using our God-given gifts to praise the Lord and lead this congregation into worship.

Take one of two tracks: run the sound board (audio), or run the computer (visual) that projects the images for the worship and announcements; volunteers serve once a month
Core Planning Team
Use your administrative skills to help plan the logistics of every worship service; meets twice a month for a one year commitment
This is an upfront role which includes communicating directly to the congregation about critical information for upcoming news and events; volunteers serve about once a month
Facilitates the behind the scenes organization and preparation to help ensure that the service runs smoothly, including trial runs and mic checks; also acts as a liaison to emcees, speakers, A/V, and others as necessary during the service
Vocalists and instrumentalists leading worship and speaking to hearts of the congregation through the language of music
Worship Planning Team
Want to be creative but don’t have a lot of time? Commitment is twice a month for 2-3 months. Work with the Core Planning Team to bring creative ideas that express our Godgiven creativity to be expressed in our worship services.

Stu is married to the wonderful, amazing, artistic Michelle. They live in Andersonville. Stu has been with First Free since March of 2010. He graduated from a small Bible college in Dubuque, IA, has led worship nationally and internationally since high school, and really, REALLY enjoys his morning coffee.
