Halloween is a big event in Andersonville. This year we’ll be participating in Aville-o-ween on Catalpa instead of giving out candy at our Berwyn door as we have done in the past. This gives us an opportunity to interact with more kids and families in our community. To make it fun, we will be giving kids Tater Tats temporary tattoos. (Tater Tats gives 10% of each purpose to small-scale farms.) We expect to have up to 500 kids come through.
This event will take place from 12 to 3 pm on Saturday, October 26th. We’re looking for volunteers to help serve the kids temporary tatoos, give out some candy, and answer any questions about First Free and our City Kids ministry. If you’d like to help, you can sign up at Signup.com.
