The Christian season of Lent is just a few weeks away, and it begins every year on Ash Wednesday, a time to reflect on what it means to be human, in all our failures and frailties.
This year, we are joining with Missio Dei for our Ash Wednesday service, which will be at 7pm on March 5, hosted at 1242 W Addison St. You can expect a time of singing, prayer, quiet reflection, teaching, and the imposition of ashes.
The season ends on Good Friday, April 18, with a meditation on the cross of Christ. This year, we will be joining with Missio Dei at their Uptown location for a service at 7pm.
