Will is First Free’s intentional interim pastor. Along with his wife Jackie, they are guiding First Free in a season of reflection and self study.
The Hope’s bring many years of pastoral and urban ministry experience to First Free. They are passionate followers of Jesus and are convinced that God seeks those who will worship Him in Spirit and in truth.
Family (including grandchildren), sharing faith, hiking, tennis, reading, and violin are some of Will’s passions. He is a graduate of Bethel Theological Seminary (MDIV) and Oral Roberts University (DMIN).

Brittany is from Atlanta, Michael is from Ontario, Canada – they met in Germany, and served together on-board Operation Mobilization’s mission ship, Doulos (OM) before moving to Chicago in 2009 to attend school. They have two young daughters, Avalea and Josephine, and another child on the way! Michael and Brittany are passionate about the story of God’s grace for his children. They love sharing food, hospitality and conversation with friends and strangers alike. When not chasing toddlers, they enjoy taking long walks through the city, good coffee, and travel.

Michael is married to Brittany. Together, they have two young daughters, Avalea and Josephine, and another child on the way! Michael’s passion for facilities maintenance and engineering began while serving as an Engine Rating with Operation Mobilization (OM) on-board the mission ship Doulos. Michael worked as a Locksmith and later as a Systems Engineer while studying at the Moody Bible Institute. His thirst for knowledge and quest for insight into the working of various mechanical systems has fueled his desire to see well maintained buildings serve a purpose for God’s Kingdom.

Stu is married to the wonderful, amazing, artistic Michelle. They live in Andersonville. Stu has been with First Free since March of 2010. He graduated from a small Bible college in Dubuque, IA, has led worship nationally and internationally since high school, and really, REALLY enjoys his morning coffee.
Like many on staff, Tawnya also enjoys a good cup of coffee… strong, cream-no-sugar, and never decaf. She lives in West Ridge with her husband, two kids, and their dog. In her “spare” time, she enjoys gardening, camping, nature walks, cooking, reading, and creating visual art. Before working at FF, Tawnya spent several years as a freelance graphic designer and marketing strategist. Previously, she worked as the Marketing Coordinator for Breakthrough Urban Ministries, as well as several for-profit companies.

Del is joyfully married to Ruth, and they have two sons, Ian and Josiah. He reads a lot, drinks less coffee than he would like, and likes getting to know people! He loves to travel and he collects musical instruments from around the world. He committed his life to Jesus Christ as a 15yo. and he’s been on the most amazing adventure ever since.
