In our noisy, hurry-filled city, we are creating a monthly moment of restful, reverent space to practice prayer, solitude & silence. Our sanctuary will be open to all from 7-8:30pm every 1st Wednesday of the month. You can expect dim lighting, candles, and ambient instrumental music. You are free to meditate on Scripture, sit in silence, or spend the time quietly praying however you feel led. We will provide printed prayer guides and you may come and go as you please. We will gather together for a guided Lectio Divina from 7:45-8pm. Lectio Divina is an ancient way to read the Bible contemplatively, listening for the voice of God speaking to you through the Sacred Scriptures. Childcare is not provided.
Note: There will be no Spacious Place in July due to Independence Day. Our next Spacious Place will be the first Wednesday in August, the 7th.
