In preparation for our February Ministry Community Meeting, we’ve scheduled two interactive Zoom gatherings. On January 15 from 7 to 8pm, we’ll have a small panel of church leaders whose churches have gone through denominational change. On January 22, from 7:30 to 8:30pm we’ve invited representatives from our current denomination to answer questions and interact with congregants.

Denominational Change Panel
January 15, 7pm on Zoom

Across the country, many churches are finding themselves at a crossroads—loving their denominational roots while also sensing a growing misalignment in mission, theology, and how the love of God is lived out, especially among those who have been marginalized.

This panel conversation brings together four experienced church leaders who have walked through seasons of denominational discernment, transition, and change. Each panelist brings a unique perspective shaped by prayer, pastoral care, congregational leadership, and deep commitment to the gospel.

Here is a line-up of our panelists:

Together, we will explore:

  • Why churches consider denominational change or disaffiliation
  • How theological convictions, mission, and conscience shape these decisions
  • The pastoral and communal impact of transition on congregations
  • What it looks like to remain rooted in Christ while responding faithfully to new callings

This conversation will offer wisdom, humility, and hope. All are welcome. Join us to listen, learn, and reflect on how the Spirit may be leading our church in this season.
