Now through Christmas
In 2 Chronicles, Chapter 24, we see that when King Joash learned that major repairs were needed for the temple, he called on the people of Judah to give toward the project of repairing it. “All the officials and all the people brought their contributions gladly…They did this regularly and collected a great amount of money…They hired masons and carpenters to restore the Lord’s temple.”
We are invite you at First Free to give gladly. This Thanksgiving and Christmas we are asking for contributions above and beyond your regular tithe to be made toward the needed repairs through this fund. If you give cash or a check on Sunday mornings, please use the envelope found in seat backs, and write “Masonry Repair Fund” on the fund line marked “Other.” You can also give through any of these easy ways:

Using Your Spiritual Gifts
Whether you prefer “working behind-the-scenes” or like “being out front,” there are many interesting ways to use your skills and passion to get involved here by serving! It is our desire that people would serve out of joy and purpose. If you are unsure about your spiritual gifts, here is a tool that may prove to be helpful to you. Download the Spiritual Gifts Assessment Tool here, or find a copy in the foyer outside the sanctuary. What is a spiritual gift, anyway? Email your questions to Pastor Bill.
