2014 Experiential Lenten Calendar
Traditionally, Christians have used the Lenten season as a time to fast, to serve others and to reflect on the greatness of our Savior and the salvation He provides. Since salvation is by grace alone through faith, activities during lent are NOT a way to earn merit before God. Rather, voluntarily refraining from normal pleasures and serving others is a way for us to create space in our lives to experience God’s goodness and demonstrate His love to others.
