Baptism is a sacrament that displays dying with Christ and coming alive again in Him. It is a choice followers of Jesus get to make to publicly declare their faith. On Sunday, June 23rd, we will
have our normal, 10am service here in the sanctuary. Following the service we will make our
way over to Foster Beach where we will have our first church picnic of the summer (Bring Your Own Food) and the baptisms will follow shortly after in Lake Michigan. We have quite a few people getting baptized, so this should be a really special day.
Bring your own lunch and something to sit on (beach towels, chairs, picnic blankets). First Free will provide drinks and we’ll have a cake to celebrate. Definitely consider walking to the beach, biking, or taking public transportation since parking can be pretty difficult on the weekend in June. The picnic location is almost directly down Berwyn.
