Centro Romero is a non-profit community-based organization serving the refugee immigrant population on the northeast side of Chicago. Located at 6216 North Clark Street, Centro Romero provides legal aid services and much-needed help as people try to navigate the complex application processes of the United States Citizen and Immigration Services. They also offer services dedicated to caring for families as well as youth through their learning and leadership programs, violence prevention, education and orientation events in order to support healthy personal and social development of all participants. Centro Romero endeavors to bridge a disenfranchised community of immigrants and refugees into mainstream American society as well as improve their opportunity for upward social mobility.
