Our Sunday morning programs serve children from 4 months old through 5th grade. We welcome our families to check in their children at the kiosks on the 2nd floor before the service. All children and volunteers begin their time in God’s House by worshiping with their families in the sanctuary, and are dismissed to their various classes after the first song set.
On the 4th and 5th Sundays of each month, however, all but the youngest remain in the service. Our elementary age children (1st – 5th) remain with their families to partake in Communion and learn to engage in the traditional church format. The nursery remains staffed for infants through preschool age. If needed, it is also available for children up to 1st grade who need to take a break from the service. Individual Busy-Bags are provided on those Sundays for all children who need one.
Nursery
Intended primarily for ages 4 months to Kindergarten, the Nursery is located just outside the sanctuary’s southern door, and is a safe, nurturing space for kids to play and interact while their parents are in the worship service. We offer a Bible Story, song time, interactive play based activities, and crafts for children to participate in learning about God. There is a crib room for infants who need a quiet sleeping space, and partially separated large areas so different ages can play safely.
The Nursery is the only classroom open on 4th and 5th Sundays.
Treehouse
1st through 5th grade children go upstairs to the 3rd floor “Treehouse” classroom, where they participate in a discussion-oriented Bible lesson to get a little deeper into God’s truths, a hands-on craft or activity time, memory verse practice, and an accompanied video.
The Treehouse classroom is open the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Sunday of the month.
