We are celebrating Palm Sunday with an all-church picnic and fun Easter-themed crafts and activities for the kids. Since the weather is expected to be pretty cold and wet, we will have lunch in the fellowship hall and crafts in the gym & youth room. Bring your own lunch and drinks and plan to join us for some fellowship time for everyone and crazy crafts for the kids.
CRAZY CRAFT DAY:
Crazy Craft Day is a spring-time, Easter-themed opportunity for families to come together and explore their creative side with some unique arts and crafts. Kids will have the chance to paint, weave, color, create, and try new things with the help of their friends, families, and leaders. There is something at this event for everybody to enjoy and with such a wide range of stations for kids to choose from, it’s bound to be a memorable experience for everyone and draw the community closer! As we celebrate Jesus going from death to life, we are making something from nothing with our arts and crafts! Snack food, including fruit, chips, candy and rice crispy treats, will be provided.
SCHEDULE:
12:00—1:00p.m. Welcome
Time to eat and then we will explain all of the stations kids will be participating in.
1:00—2:00p.m. Stations
Kids will rotate between the stations and create some amazing crafts!
2:00p.m. Dismissal
Make sure every kid has all of their crafts to take home with them when they leave!
There is no formal RSVP for the crafts, but if you are planning to come, Bekah would love a heads up to know rough numbers for crafts + snacks!
